Position Type: Local Shuttle (Flatbed/Step Deck)
Location: Lafayette, IN
Hiring Radius: Must live within 50 miles
Positions Available: Limited Openings (3rd Shift Priority)
💼 POSITION DETAILS
- Home Time: Home Daily
- Shift Options:3rd Shift:Sunday–Thursday OR Thursday–Monday
- 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 1st Shift also available (limited openings)
- Schedule: Varies based on plant needs
- Seat Type: Assigned Truck (Not Slip Seat)
🚚 FREIGHT & OPERATIONS
- Live Load / Live Unload
- Local shuttle operations with occasional nearby runs
Freight Type:
- Engines, generators, radiators, and similar equipment
Equipment:
- Step Decks (primary)
- Occasional Double Drops
- Some 1st shift drivers may pull dry vans
⚠️ Securement Required:
- Strapping
- Chains & binders
- Tarping required
💰 PAY & COMPENSATION
- 3rd Shift Pay: $28/hour
- Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours
Other Pay Rates:
- 1st Shift: $25/hour
- Swing Shift: $26/hour
- 2nd Shift: $27/hour
💵 Bonuses:
- $500 Transition Bonus (paid on second paycheck)
- $3,000 Bonus Total:$1,000 on second paycheck
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 120 days
📋 REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CDL A License
- 1 Year Experience Required
- Minimum 6 Months Flatbed Experience (within last 3 years)
- Securement experience required (chains, binders, straps)
- Must be able to tarp loads
- Must be available for weekend work
